Took a fancy dress costume to Stitch In Time today after needing to find a new alterations shop after moving and seeing good reviews - plus the shop being open out of 9-5 hours was a huge bonus!
It needed taking in, which he did by briefly measuring my waist over the counter and then altered my outfit in minutes, I tried it on and it was a perfect fit!! I was sooo impressed I couldn’t believe the fit of it and the speed too.
I also wanted a tail adding (really random request!) and he did it with such detail and really messed around with it until it looked perfect.
We had a good laugh the whole time and I felt really welcome.
Great price and customer service, beautifully amended clothing and speedy service too!
The owner is a very talented guy and a bit of a legend, thanks so much I will definitely return here and would recommend this place to everyone????

Amazing repair. I have just had my woollen jacket repaired at A Stitch In Time. The elbow had worn through. The repair was an invisible repair and you cannot see the repair it is as good as new. I would highly recommend the services, and it’s great to have a brilliant tailor service in sale. Thank you so much, superb!!
